Sergey ROGOGIN: “TWO WOMEN ARE ENOUGH FOR ME”.

“A man on my own” – now this saying is not only expressing the life position of the singer Sergey Rogogin, it has also became the title of his new album. By the way, the help in releasing this album has come from no one else, but Artemiy Troitsky himself.

- You, yourself understand that Artemiy would not have paid any attention to any tasteless music, which circles around a lot in our show business and around Mr. Troitsky in particular, - stated Sergey without any modesty. I think my new album “A man on my own”, which was produced by composer Vladimir Sevastianov, can not stay unnoticed in any case – the music there is very European, something between George Michael and Elton John, plus music mixes are very original, good lyrics…. No wonder “General Records” company became very interested in this project, not without Mr. Troitsky’s help.

- With who you are aquatinted, if I am not mistaken, since the times of  St Petersburg Rock Club?

- Yes, I began singing in group “Auktion”. During those two years and a half, while I was working with them, we were participating practically in all festivals in St Petersburg, where Mr. Troitsky was a frequent guest. Obviously, we’ve got to know each other – believe me, no matter what people say about him, he is very interesting human being, professional, whose opinion I trust a lot.

- What’s special in today’s work of the follower of group Forum – Forum Unistudio? How important your opinion is today there?

- I will put it this way, I am working on one of the solo projects, directed by the studio along with Tanya Abramova’s solo projects, young singer Elisaveta and the daugher of  Alexander Morozov, the composer and the ex-producer of group Forum, Sasha Morozova, who is singing too now. Basically, there’s enoug work to do; singers from Moscow are recording willingly in our studio – Larisa Dolina was there recently, and Sergey Chumakov and new and perspective group “Tantsi Minus”.

As to unbreakable Forum connections, Volodya Saiko and I never lost touch – he is writing songs for me, specifically he wrote new dance program for me “Time of chrysanthemums” in “dream house” and “trance” styles.

- You used to have many songs about jealousy. It creates an impression of Sergey Rogogin as a handsome heart breaker, who is constantly making loud scenes of jealousy to his wife with breaking of the dishes…

- I’ve forgot what it looks like long time ago – I’ve been married for 13years and my daughter is already a young lady. She is only ten years old, but she is almost your height and wears size 39 shoes. It’s such a problem to find and buy anything for her, so that she would like it and it would fit her. It’s impossible to find anything for her here, we have to buy everything overseas.

I, of course, could have played the role of cool and popular guy, all he has to do is smile and all girls will be after him. But its not me, and I don’t need all this. I am a family man and two women are enough for me to be happy – big and small, my daughter and my wife
